The 2010 People's Gaming Awards
It’s that time once again. Voting for the Golden Joystick Awards, also known as the People’s Gaming Awards, is now open. Being in it’s 28th year in 2010, the Golden Joystick Awards are the longest running video game awards ceremony in the world.
In 2009 there were over 1.2 million votes cast. Help to make this year even bigger by casting your votes for your favorite video games. There are 16 different categories open and voting runs until May 27th, 2010. “Ultimate Game of the Year” remains as the biggest award given away with past winners like Fallout 3, Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The 28th annual awards focus on games released from May 22 2009 to May 22 2010.
The Joysticks are hoping to reach a massive 1.5 million votes this year, helping them to keep their Guinness World Record. So get out there and show your favorite games some love!
